Rubber grass mat safer surfacing is an excellent form of wear resistant matting for high wear areas such as walk ways and around low level play equipment installed into grass.
This versatile rubber matting is formed with an open ring design to allow the grass beneath to grow through almost entirely concealing the mats. Following installation the grass may be mowed in the usual fashion.
With very little ground preparation required, grass mats are installed directly on to existing grass and fixed down using Nylon pegs, this economical surfacing solution offers high resistance to wear and moderate impact absorbency.
The grass mats can be supplied and installed by Garden Karma or delivered to you for self-installation. The thickness of the grass mat is either 22mm or 16mm and they measure 1500mm x 1000mm.
Rubber Grass Matting has been tested to achieve a fall height of up to 2.5 metres. However, the fall height properties can be affected by soil type, grass conditions and moisture content.
